RESPONSIBILITIES:

• VMware Vsphere Setup & Administration
• Cisco UCS Setup & Administration
• Firmware upgrade of different components of cisco unified computing infrastructure
• Patching of VMWare infrastructure servers
• Performance Analysis and tuning, 2-5 years of experience
• Analytical skills to troubleshoot virtualized IT infrastructure issues
• Performing problem understanding, troubleshooting, and resolution or escalation.
• Performing planned maintenance work and other tasks at scheduled times.
• Answering requests by phone, email and trouble ticket.
• Collaborating with other technical and non-technical team members
• Supporting our systems and other IT staff based all over the globe, with a working language of English.
• Continuously monitoring and responding to alerts raised on our Global IT Infrastructure.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

• Cisco Unified Computing System
• VMWare administration
• Good knowledge of IT networking concepts
• Knowledge of ITIL process
• Any scripting skills would be an added advantage – Powershell or Python
