We are looking for a Techno-Functional BI Lead with strong expertise in Tableau and Power BI tools to lead the project. The ideal candidate should have a blend of technical BI skills and strong business analysis capabilities. This role requires leadership in guiding the team, interacting with clients to understand business needs, and ensuring successful BI reports delivery.

key Responsibilities:

• Team Lead: Lead the migration of Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring smooth transition and performance optimization.
• Report Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards for business users, ensuring high-quality visualizations and user-friendly interface.
• Data Modeling: Build and manage robust data models in Power BI, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud services, etc.) and ensure accurate data transformation using Power Query.
• ETL Processes: Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources, clean and transform data, and load it into Power BI for reporting.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of Power BI reports by optimizing data models, queries, and visualizations. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to data refresh, query performance, and dashboards.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate those requirements into technical specifications and Power BI solutions.
• Data Security: Implement row-level security (RLS) and other security features to restrict data access for users based on roles and permissions.
• Maintenance & Updates: Regularly maintain, update, and refresh Power BI reports and dashboards to reflect the latest business data and requirements.
• Cloud & Integration: Utilize Power BI Service for report publishing, sharing, and collaboration.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in Tableau to Power BI migration projects.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Tableau and SQL.
• Strong Business Analysis skills – ability to understand business problems, gather requirements, and communicate effectively.
• Hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills – ability to delegate, mentor, and ensure project success.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in data governance, performance optimization, and dashboard best practices.

Qualifications:

Certification in Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.
